Seduction Pavillion
The Seduction Pavilion is conceived as an ephemeral memorial installation in Bologna, celebrating the overlooked narratives of nameless female stars. Rather than commemorating established icons, the project honors unrealized fame — transforming forgotten aspirations into a spatial and atmospheric experience.
The pavilion adopts an organic and fluid configuration, characterized by multiple points of entry and exit. This non-linear circulation reflects the unstable trajectories of aspiring performers, allowing visitors to wander, pause, and engage with the installation in a personal and exploratory manner.
Its envelope is composed of precisely aligned Washi fabric panels, creating a layered system of opacity and transparency. Depending on the viewer’s position, the structure shifts in perception — at times solid, at times translucent. The material’s dual nature — delicate yet strong — reinforces the conceptual theme of seduction and fragility. Photographic prints embedded within the panels become partially revealed through movement, encouraging intimate interaction between body, light, and memory.
Through material lightness and spatial ambiguity, the pavilion transforms ephemeral dreams into a tactile architectural experience.
